(powder coated steel, beech ply, sandcast aluminium)
| These clothes rails designed for Religion deliberately increased traffic, with a resultant 30% rise in sales. The double peak of the opposing angled lengths made a brand-specific church reference and meant that the rails were prominent when placed as concessions in showrooms across the country. a=r designed a double rail so more product could be displayed that, crucially, had curved ends so customers were unconsciously coerced into viewing the entire range rather than glancing off after looking at only one side of the rail. A central bar meant one item could be exhibited from the front and back. The Religion logo was made from sandcast aluminium and placed on beech ply in the middle of the rails. | ![]() |
